ELN: training on climate literacy begins

The Climate Literacy Training application form to be realized within the scope of the Environmental Literacy Communication Network Project realized under the umbrella of uva Association is given below.

Environmental Literacy Communication Network Project is a project carried out by Yuva Association (Turkey) and Kyoto Club (Italy) within the scope of Networks and Platforms Support Program within the framework of European Union Civil Society Tool and Media – Civil Society.

Purpose of the Program:

  • Understand what climate and climate change is and understand its natural causes.
  • To be able to understand and explain how human activities affect the climate.
  • Understanding the impact of climate change on the world and people/society and its possible future effects.
  • To know the importance of limiting the increase in global temperature to 1.5 °C in the fight against climate change.
  • To learn what has been done in the fight against climate change and what needs to be done at different scales.
  • To know that our daily actions leave a carbon footprint on the planet and to be able to make informed decisions accordingly.

The training will be held between 13 – 16:30 on Saturday, 26 June and 13 – 16 on Sunday, 27 June. The training will be held online via the Zoom application.
