Twelve cities in final race to win European sustainable mobility awards
The nominees for the two European Mobility Week Awards, the Award for Sustainable Urban Mobility Planning (SUMP Award) and the EU Urban Road Safety Award were revealed earlier this week.

These awards recognise excellence in the promotion of sustainable mobility from 16-22 September; in sustainable urban mobility planning; and in road safety, respectively. All finalists have been nominated for activities carried out in 2021 under the theme ‘Safe and Healthy with Sustainable Mobility’.
The four shortlisted cities were selected by an independent panel of mobility and transport experts, and the four winners will be crowned during an online award ceremony on 28 March 2022 at 15.00 CET.
