Health and Spatial Planning: enhanced territorial governance for a new generation of Alpine Space 2014+ projects
SPHERA project final conference.
<p>Alpine healthcare systems are faced with numerous challenges, thus demanding a change towards sustainable health models and governance. Spatial planning in the Alpine regions should be considered in a perspective enabling the integration and harmonization of different policies, including health, in order to enhance territorial governance for the well-being of all.
The SPHERA final conference has the twofold objective to present the project achievements and offer the opportunity to discuss policy developments for a new generation of Alpine Space projects in terms of ideas and challenges. The conference will host contributions from the project partners and external stakeholders representing governmental institutions and centres of competence at local and national level. Policy and decision makers, as well as researchers, specialists and main actors of the health system and spatial planning professionals are the key audience of the conference. The conference is expected to gather further inputs that will be elaborated by the project team for deliver final policy orientations and guidelines.
