Copernicus C3S, the climate monitoring service offered by Copernicus, the European observation network on land and sea, reports.<\/p>\n<p>In Europe, temperatures are well above average in many western countries, but below average in the northeast. Both the Arctic and Antarctica saw less than average sea ice coverage compared to the 1981-2010 average.
