But tried and tested solutions are available and now need to be rolled out at scale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Cars still dominate our cities \u2013 and that\u2019s a massive problem.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Despite many journeys being relatively short in cities, and public transport, walking and cycling being available alternatives, cars still dominate in cities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">High levels of car ownership correlate with high levels of emissions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">High levels of car ownership usually imply high car use, and hence dangerous levels of greenhouse gas emissions.
