{"id":42757,"date":"2022-07-27T08:17:00","date_gmt":"2022-07-27T06:17:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.kyotoclub.org\/?p=42757"},"modified":"2022-08-02T08:19:05","modified_gmt":"2022-08-02T06:19:05","slug":"how-can-a-life-cycle-approach-curb-the-plastic-pollution-crisis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kyotoclub.org\/en\/news-en\/news-from-the-world\/2022\/07\/27\/how-can-a-life-cycle-approach-curb-the-plastic-pollution-crisis\/","title":{"rendered":"How can a life-cycle approach curb the plastic pollution crisis?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Co-led by the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) and the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, the global commitment has over 500 signatories across businesses, governments and other organizations committed to ensuring that plastic never becomes waste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Plastic production, use and disposal are all contributors to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unep.org\/news-and-stories\/speech\/action-triple-planetary-crisis\">triple planetary crisis<\/a>.
