The first step to addressing climate risk is to measure and understand it. In this webinar, we will present an analysis of data reported through the <strong>CDP-ICLEI <\/strong>unified reporting system by over 620 cities in 2018 regarding the climate risks and impacts and their adaptation goals and actions. We will also highlight areas where the data demonstrates room for improvement, particularly focusing on the need to identify risks and impacts over the longer term (i.e. beyond 2050). Drawing on data reported in 2019, we will discuss several case studies of innovative actions to address specific risks, focusing on nature based solutions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We live in a rapidly urbanizing world.
